Background

Dee had the pleasure of raising one step-son, a step-daughter for a short time, and then three sons of her own, who have all grown and had families of their own. Before her legal career, she and her late husband engaged in entrepreneurial endeavors, with varying degrees of success, that allowed her to work from home. While she enjoyed the challenges and rewards that being a business owner creates, she has always considered being a mom her greatest roll. The transition from mom to assisting employees wade through the complexities of employment law seemed natural.

Legal Experience

Dolores “Dee” Davis joined Schwin Law, PC as a paralegal in July 2015, bringing 28 years of experience in the legal industry with her. Before moving back to Fresno in 2014, worked in Southern California. She began her career working for the South Orange County Municipal Court (later Orange County Superior Court) as a Clerk. Thereafter, she worked as a Legal Assistant to Steven D. Silverstein, handling landlord-tenant and personal injury matters. She then worked for various law firms until she was ultimately hired as a Legal Assistant by James M. Trush, a prominent employment law attorney. Ms. Davis spent 18 years working for Mr. Trush on employment matters with a focus on wage and hour class action litigation. Dee Davis is a Certified Paralegal pursuant to Business & Professions Code §6450(c)(4) and has maintained all required MCLE under Business & Professions Code §6450(d) to date.
